I designed a menu for a new restaurant and received no compensation. They still owe me money for back pay so I quit. Are they still allowed to use the menu and my name in the restaurant and on the website? I signed no waiver saying that they can use my name.

You did the work for them so they own it. The fact that you were not paid is a separate issue.

Were you an employee (W-2 at the end of the year) or an IC (1099 at the end of the year)? It makes a difference what your recourse is.
