J-Walking Ticket CMH, OH

Jurisdiction/Place:

I was ticketed for j-walking at 7:10 PM in downtown Columbus, Ohio. There was no traffic on the street; it's Columbus, after all. The ticket is $110. The cop wrote the wrong street name for the intersection. Example: The streets were Smith and Kline, but he wrote Jones and Kline. Jones is another street, but is two blocks away and parallel to Kline. Can I get this ticket dismissed because of this factual error? I have to pay by Friday morning, 9/28. Thanks for any advice.

Yes you can on a technicality. If you can prove you were never in the place he claims you were........That is hard to do. If he admits to his error, or does not show up in court to defend his ticket it can be thrown out.
