I have a grandaughter that lives with the paternal grandparent. She lets me have some visitation with her , but i would like to get her for the weekend some. The other grandparent only has temporary cust of this child. My daughter has not signed over any rights to this child. What are my options here. The paternal grandparent will not let me see her for more than 3 hours.

You need to hire a lawyer and get this formalized; through court if necessary.

Grandparents rights are very limited in most states. You may not have any rights to the child at all. You need to get an attorney and ask for a set visitation schedule and hope that a judge will approve it.

Also, if she is your daughter, why did she sign temp. cusotdy over to the other grandparent? If nothing is legalized through the court, your daughtr should be able to dictate if you are to see the child. The fact mom gave custody over to the other grandparent instead of you makes me think there is more to the story here.
