Hi.
I have recently been notified by my accountant that the IRS is stating that I have already filed and recieved my refund. The only problem is that I have not. Some way my social security number has been used to file an exemption and now I have to prove to the IRS that I am who I am. My question is this...Is there any way that I can find out how the IRS got my soc # and who they got it from?

I am very concerned due to I had some checks stolen last year and I thought it was over.

Any suggestions?

Please help!!
