I was told it is possible to have a friend deliver a supoena to a witness. What is the procedure for this? Thanks .

Please describe in detail:
1. How your friend was presented with the subpoena;
2. How you were served with the subpoena;
3. Your relationship to this "friend";
4. Whether this is a state or federal case;
5. Whether you have contacted any attorney or court regarding the subpoena;
6. Whether you feel you have no testimony to offer in the case in which you were subpoenaed to testify;
7. Whether you have provided prior testimony or given an unofficial statement (including a brief telephone conversation, etc.) in this case to anyone, and if so, whom?
8. Whether you are the spouse of one of the parties named in the lawsuit.
