Can My Current Husband Be Held Accountable?

I have filed for Innocent Spouse Relief from a previous marriage which is in the process of being resolved by the IRS. I have since remarried and was wondering if I file a joint return with my current husband, and the Innocent Spouse issue is not resolved in my favor, if he can be held accountable for taxes owed from my previous marriage.
