Fake Driver's license.

I know a friend who used a fake birth certificate to obtain a driver's license. He lost his license and now wants to obtain another license but now with his real name. Will he be arrested if he confesses that he used a fake name to obtain his first license?

Im not sure, but im almost positive he'll get a fine for using fraudulent paperwork. He might get arrested while they find out what stuff he did on that alias name. If he did anything. And im pretty sure he wont be able to get another license for a while, if at all. I could be wrong tho. Dont take what i say for being true, just my opinion

Nobody can tell your friend what to do or what risks he should take. If he wants to obtain a second license that might arouse suspicion then he runs the risk of his prior fraud being discovered and nobody can do anything for him -- the deed is done and it seems likely that there would be sufficient evidence to charge him.

Might also have your "friend" have the old DL "run", to see what the Motor Vehicle records show. Most Motor Vehicle records go back 4-6 years, then are archived. Contact me personally (email) to discuss.
